Samuel's Little Disciples purchased three raised garden beds for their friends at Rotary Senior Living. Not only was it a beautiful day to plant a garden but it was also National Nursing Home Week. With any luck they will have lots of fresh vegetables to eat soon!

The Little Disciples will be going to Rotary Senior Living again this year on the third Sunday of each month. We will go from 10:15 to 11:00. We have had several requests from residents in the North building so we will be going to both building this year. The kids are so good to the residents. Not only do they all take time to talk to all of them and they always have a big hug for them before they leave. They are a true blessing to them! We will be taking part in two service projects this year. Our first one will be adopting a family at Christmas time. The kids will give them everything they need to have a Christmas dinner and some gifts for the kids. "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father." Colossians 3:17 |
